Secluded Country Estate Get-A-Way; Ground Level

Welcome to Wild Wing Meadows, a gated country estate established in 2004. Over 200 acres of outdoor beauty & serenity in a park like setting are available for your physical and emotional relaxation. The Property includes more than 8 miles of hiking trails for the adventurous nature lovers & 2-one acre ponds with scattered benches for individuals seeking peaceful relaxation. Located just 15 min from downtown Logan, less than 30 min to the center of the Hocking Hills tourist attractions. Our goal is to provide you with those things necessary to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible and make your vacation a memorable one. We travel a lot ourselves and appreciate the value of a private, restful, no-hassle place to recharge for the next day. This listing is for the ground level in the house with sleeping accommodations for 4 individuals. The ground level features 2 private bedrooms with double beds and a shared full bathroom. Each bedroom has windows with light reduction blinds. Some ground level common spaces are available to ground level guests. This includes the dining space, laundry room, outdoor patio, and hearth room. The hearth room is a private sitting area with chairs for relaxing, enjoying the views, or board games. There is an outdoor patio with table and chairs overlooking the pond for spring, summer, and fall usage. A complementary continental breakfast is provided in the morning that includes: hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, hearty oatmeal and granola, juice & milk. Traveling with little ones? We have a pack and play and a high chair available, as well as a number of toys available for children age 1-7yrs. Guests staying in the ground level will have access to some of the tenanted home, including laundry room (laundry detergent available), outdoor areas which include hiking trails, patio and parking areas. However, the lower level is off limits to guests staying on the ground level unless both levels are occupied by the same booking. There are several shared entrances to the home but we ask you to use the side entrance in or next to the garage. There is a space for shoes next to the side door entrance. There is no garage parking; but there is ample parking space available for whatever size vehicle and/or with trailer you drive. For winter visitors, all-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. The fireplace, pool table, and liquor cabinet in the hearth room are off-limits. Wi-Fi is available. No fishing, swimming, boating in/on the ponds are allowed. All buildings strictly off limits except the main house where you are staying and the campsite shelter house. Do not approach, touch, use, or alter farm machinery, implements, and equipment of any kind. As a 40-year-plus married couple, we happily welcome singles and families of all stripes that respect our home. We are always happy to make the acquaintance of our guests and typically greet arrivals with keys and information. Having lived in this locale for over 30-years, we are pleased to offer any assistance with suggestions for your time in our area. As hosts we will provide you with as much time and information as you prefer or as much privacy as you desire. Feel free to communicate any needs and preferences. We are 15 minutes from historical Lancaster and its arts, culture and restaurants. The estate is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers , seasonal deer and turkey hunters, and families.. Our goal is to provide a clean, private, and affordable place to safely rest and relax, offering a warm welcome to each of our guests--just like we prefer when traveling and staying in Airbnb’s. No Public transportation available. We prefer no pets. The house is not handicapped accessible due to 2 steps inside and outside the house. Absolutely no tobacco/vaping or alcohol products on premises, inside or out. No firearms allowed unless locked in a case. Archery range is available on-site with permission.
