Renovated barn of a XV century castle

Create wonderful memories in this outbuilding within our 15th century family castle. The Bicon estate includes the main castle and an old two-story barn that we have just renovated into 2 indepedant apartments There is a magnificent English-park and a sheep meadow of 2 hectares entirely enclosed by high walls and which includes a spring and a secure pond. You can access a 20 acres private lake located just 5km away for the enjoyment of fishermen and nature lovers. The accommodation is an independent 3 bedroom apartment that has just been renovated and includes a large living room and kitchen. You will be charmed by the old exposed framework and the bathroom located in a medieval tower which dates from before the construction of the outbuilding. The photos will be put on line as soon as the work is finished, scheduled for April 2021. The access to the castle is through the main entrance which goes up through a beautiful alley lined with chestnut trees to the round courtyard in front of the castle. Parking is available on the side of the courtyard, 50 meters from the main house. The park of the castle is entirely enclosed by high walls and the electric gate is closed at night. The janitor of the castle, Christophe, lives on site in an outbuilding separate from the castle and he will see to your reception and that you do not miss anything, by being discreet. Some bedrooms and the pool are not in pictures as their are currently being renovated. We offer the possibility for our guests to do a late check-out until 6pm, subject to availability, for an additional cost of 50% of one night.
