Stargazing Glamping Tent in the Catskills

Come get away from it all at Cricket Road. Located 2.5 hours from NYC, our 50 acre farm is surrounded by forest, flowers, and wild blueberries. Two private glampsites are situated on our old private road lined with 100-year-old hemlock trees. Both sites offer a secluded experience away from neighbors, noise and light pollution – perfect for stargazing and relaxation. 15 mins to Phoenicia, 20 to Woodstock, 30 to Kingston – all offer tons of hikes, shops, restaurants, and breweries. Unplug and unwind on your deck with nothing but birds, stars, and wildlife to keep you company. We provide a fire pit w/ grate, firewood, a picnic table, adirondack chairs, and a large canvas tent w/ a memory foam mattress & 100% cotton bedding for each site. We will leave a guide of local hikes, restaurants, breweries and grocery stores nearby. We have a no-frills sun shower and composting toilet as we are off grid! We provide 2 solar powered lanterns, one that can charge your phone if needed. Parking is available for 1 car. We live on the property, out of sight but within earshot of the campsites. If anything is needed we will be right down the road to help and are available via call or text. We are located at the foothills of the Catskills, nestled right by the Ashokan Resevoir. We have many hikes and outdoor adventures nearby, yet are only a 2 hour drive from NYC. There are neighbors, so please be quiet after hours, but also remember to enjoy yourselves. We are a 5 minute drive to an old quarry trail, the Ashokan Resevoir Promenade, and the Ashokan Rail Trail as well. Many other hikes are nearby as well great places to eat, drink, and shop. We recommend having a car to enjoy the area fully.
