Harking back to the traditional shepherd Hut, Knock Knock has a nostalgic and simple feel. Fire pit for cooking (we can help if you are unsure), Solar lighting, Phone charging (2 USB’s), Picnic table. All crockery and cutlery provided. 1.2 x 1.8m small double. BRING ALL BEDDING PLEASE. Firewood to buy. 'Off grid’ haven. No other electrics. Cwtch Cabins & Camping is a gem of a find, an off-grid, back to nature, traditional family campsite. Very special, quirky little cabins and shepherd hut to stay in or pitch your own tent. New creative site with flowing lines and planting. A warm welcome from hosts Ruth & James and their dogs Chaucer & Luther. 5 Star reviews “Fantastic camp-site. It’s a brand new site in July 2020, with sparkling clean facilities, lovely wild grasses, and veg beds scattered around. It’s off-grid, but there are no compromises re: hot water etc. The use of their fire-pits is a nice touch too. Ruth & James are very keen not to overcrowd the site, which is particularly important at the moment, but will ensure a pleasant experience here long after 2020. Lots of stunning local walks, and a short drive from the Malvern Hills.” Cooking on a fire-pit is the order of the day and Ruth has lots of recipes that she is happy to share to get you going if you are lacking inspiration. Very green site with a strong ethos for reduce, re-use and recycle. Lovely, ‘get away from it all’ place with historic house, local cider makers and pubs within a leg stretch walk (about a mile). The village of Much Marcle itself hosts a list of events each year before you even have to travel more than a mile! Nestling, equidistant between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent you have your pick of fantastic historic market towns (with their Market Houses) and the most amazing independent shops. Very slightly further away you have Hereford (another fantastic Market town), Gloucester and Worcester with their collections of cathedrals, museums and shopping. The Wye Valley and surrounding areas are renowned for their outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and canoeing surrounded by the most fabulous countryside. Definitely the place to be… Westons Cider Mill - in village Lyne Down Cider - in village Greggs Pit Cider - in village Hellens - Historic House & Gardens - in village The Walwyn Pub - in village The Royal Oak Pub - in village The Slip Pub - in village Eastnor Castle - 6 miles Goodrich Castle - 8 miles Ledbury - Market town - 5 miles Ross-on-Wye - Market town - 6 miles Newent - market town - 5 miles Lots of lovely walks all around Other people may be staying in other cabins or may have pitched tents. We are an off grid site but that doesn’t mean compromising on hot water. The showers are great in a shared amenity block. You may bring a dog but please let us know in advance. Dogs are £3 a night extra which can be paid on site. Max one dog per cabin. Dogs must be on a lead at all times on site and are under no circumstances are they allowed on beds. Seasoned hardwood logs available to buy at £8.50 per apple crate. Late check in can be arranged. Please contact. It is chargeable at £5.
