Express bus, commuter train to Boston.The Hatfield Road is a circle road with practically no traffic with plenty of spaces for free parking. A large nice bedroom on the 3rd floor with a full semiprivate bathroom. A large walk-in closet. A double bed, computer desk. Outside deck, big green backyard, driveway parking. Share a full bathroom and a very decent kitchenette (full fridge, microwave, electric kettle, sink) with a neat gentleman – nurse. Share a kitchen and washer/dryer on the 2nd floor. The public transportation exists but it is not perfect. 4 minutes walk to the express bus to Boston, that comes 2 times an hour on weekdays. About 20-25 minutes walk to much more frequent buses or a train to Boston. About $6-8 by Uber to the Green line. A very good place for a cycler - cycle 15 minutes to a Newton Corner with plenty of different buses and put a bike to a bus rack. Then 10-15 minutes to Boston downtown. About 35 minutes a very pleasant bike ride along Charles River to Harvard University. There is a very frequent bus to Cambridge - Harvard SQ. from Watertown square - it is 30 minutes in rush hours. And there is about 2 miles to Watertown sq., if you cycle it is very easy. The whole cycling to Harvard sq. takes 40 minutes along the Charles river on the bicycle path.Boston buses allow carrying bicycles on a special rack. Ask a host for a free bike.
