Opening out into the main courtyard, you're surrounded by the peaceful French village of La Basse Vergne. Filled with thoughtful touches and retaining many of its original features. The chateaux has been completely renovated to offer absolute luxury in a beautiful setting. It is home to the Royal Abbey, Founded in the ninth century to house a relic of Saint John the Baptist. You are also a 40 minutes drive from La Rochelle, a seaside town with its own rich history, fantastic restaurants and wonderful beaches to enjoy.
