Ideal for Duxford airshows, aviation enthusiasts, business trips, tourists visiting London & Cambridge. Our heated annex is modern, spacious, with a generous shower, comfortable sofa to relax & a table to work or dine. Private entry is through a courtyard garden for guests use only. Located in a quiet Cambridgeshire village, the train station is a short walk, & Duxford Airfield is a 25 mins walk or 5 mins drive. Popular local pubs & cafes are within walking distance, as is the village shop. A lockable private space with separate access, you will have sole use of this space and can come in and out with your own key. There is self check-in available with our safe key lock box. - King sized bed, - Spacious shower, - Lounging and dining area with TV, - A work space, and Wifi, ( office chair available to use just let me know ) - Hanging and drawers, towels and hairdryer, - Fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glassware and bottle opener, - Use of a private courtyard patio area. - Free parking off road. We are always happy to chat with guests and help with other requests eg the use of our iron or washing machine. It may be possible to check-in /out earlier or later than stated, please ask when booking. Guests have private access to all parts of the annex. The bedroom, living space and shower room, and have sole use of the courtyard garden. Access to the annex is via a back door and a shared corridor to our washing room, with limited use. Due to the current situation we are following recommendations and offering self check-in. There is a keysafe lock box for access enabling 24 hour check in/out. However if we are home we are more than happy meet and greet guests if they prefer. Whittlesford is a fabulous village located on the River Cam, in South Cambridgeshire with lots to offer. There are a few pubs within walking distance, a historic Norman Church dating from 1217AC, a well stocked village shop and a cafe/deli. Easy access to many sightseeing options, Duxford Imperial War Museum, Duxford Chapel, Cambridge's historic centre, Granchester, numerous stately homes and wildlife reserves. We have off street parking at the property, & we are located just 5 mins walk from mainline train station, Whittlesford Parkway. (Cambridge from 9 mins, London from 60 mins). It's only a short 5 min drive (or 20-25 min walk, for ramblers) to Duxford Imperial War Musuem. Excellent access to M11 for Stansted Airport ( 22 miles ) and Addenbrookes (6 miles ). Within easy reach we have several estates / National Trust and Wildlife Trust places to visit . Iron is available on request. Adjustable office chair is available on request.
