Beautifully renovated home newly available in rural village of Higham at foot of Pendle Hill on edge of Ribble Valley. Village pub serves great food. Front drive parking 2 to 3 cars. Open plan lounge/ diner/ kitchen, bifold doors to garden. Engineered oak floors, underfloor heating throughout. Sky TV, Netflix, Now TV, Wifi. Wine cooler, boiling water tap. Upstairs 3 double bedrooms, king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, main bathroom double shower, freestanding bath, central heating upstairs. The whole house and garden is available for guests to enjoy. Important to note that the patio at the back is not yet paved and is partially covered with artificial grass as a temporary measure. There are three portable metal steps down to the lawn. This area may not be suitable for small children please just message me with any questions. I have been waiting for a builder to become available to carry out the paving since May. Whole house and garden. I will greet you when you arrive and I will be easily contactable through Airbnb messaging or phone for any questions you may have. I am also just a 15 min drive away. When you leave I can come and meet you at the house or if you need to check-out early I’m happy for you to lock the door and post the key through the letterbox. Ideal for walking the Pendle Way footpath passes through the village of Higham, breathtaking views of Pendle Hill and surrounding valleys are a 10 min walk to the top of the lane outside the house. The village pub The Four Alls at the bottom of the lane 2 min walk is renowned for its superb food and cosy atmosphere. Parking for 2 to 3 cars on the front drive, the rest of the lane does get congested with parked cars. There is just one bus per hour passing through the village so a car/ taxi is essential. Local places of interest (20-30 min drive): Whalley Abbey, Clitheroe Castle, Gawthorpe Hall, Towneley Hall and Park, Wycoller Country Park, Barley Sculpture Trail and award winning Crow Wood Spa (advanced booking here is necessary). There is a very friendly cat who is a regular visitor. If you are allergic to cats just ignore her and she will get fed up eventually and go to one of her other homes. The cat is called Tinker and lives at 3 or 4 houses along Sabden Road. If you like cats you can let her in the house and there is dry food and a clean bowl left out for her. She’s very affectionate and loves being fussed, but please don’t leave her inside the house when you go out, thank you.
