The view looks out back towards the barn. The bedroom includes the use of a large TV room, a sunroom with a wood-burning stove, and a butler's pantry stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks. There is also a large front porch perfect for some hanging out time in the warmer months. Guests have access to the TV room, sunroom, butler's pantry, and the front porch Hillsdale is a sweet little village nestled in the Berkshire Hills above the Hudson River Valley. Within a five minute walk of the house are several dining options ranging from "Farm to Table" cuisine to the local diner. Also, one of the best general stores in the Berkshires is in the village as well as gift shops, an ice cream shop, galleries, a grocery store, a hardware store, and convenience stores. The weekly Farmers Market is also nearby. For nature lovers, the Hillsdale portion of the of rail trail starts just down the road, and there are many hiking, biking and swimming spots a short distance away. For seekers of culture, galleries, museums, music, dance, and art venues of many sorts are located in Hillsdale and its surrounding towns, including Hudson, Great Barrington, Lenox, and Stockbridge. Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, The Mahaiwe. Club Helsinki, Basilica Hudson and many other venues are nearby.
