The cottage is located in a quiet coastal community over looking Chauncey Creek, but is just minutes to all the seacoast has to offer. Short drive to many area beaches (Hampton, NH; York, Ogunquit, Wells, ME). Better yet, walk to Kittery's own quiet Seapoint Beach, paddle at the bottom of the hill in the two kayaks provided or just relax on the peaceful deck with a book, a beverage and the gas fire pit for ambience... Ideal for couples or a family of three. Maximum occupancy of four. Gas grill and fire pit provided. Fully equipped kitchen. Two kayaks with life jackets and paddles. Kennel in back for furry friends. Puzzles and games provided. Internet and limited local TV This cottage is a stand alone unit. We do not live on site, but are close enough to assist you with any issues. For the most part, you will not see us throughout your stay once you've checked in unless you choose to... The cottage is located in a quiet coastal community where people walk, run and bike. The causeway at the bottom of the hill is a great place to swim and kayak at high tide. There are several beautiful beaches near by, Seapoint within walking distance and Fort Foster which is a town owned hidden gem featuring sandy & rocky beaches, a playground for the kids, grills, picnic tables and plenty of private little hideaways. Peace and solitude are respected by all, making it a very relaxing and "happy" place... A car is highly recommended... There are many things to do in the area... Shop at the famous Kittery Trading Post and outlets just a few miles away, eat at one of the great restaurants close by, visit beautiful Portsmouth, NH with it's historic Strawbery Banke Museum and Prescott Part Arts Festival featuring outdoor theater and concerts on the water, visit Ogunquit with it's famous Perkin's Cove, a working fishing village and the Ogunquit Playhouse...Oh, and eat lots of lobster!
