Ideal for the family or for a romantic getaway. Thirty minutes from central Christchurch - 5 minutes from Pegasus / Ravenswood. Bike tracks, walks, surfing and swimming at a patrolled beach - a short walk to the beach. A modern three bedroom stand alone house - built in 2012 by the homeowner/builder. The master bedroom is spacious with a walk in wardrobe, an ensuite. A queen room and bunk room for the kids with a main bathroom. The kitchen living is open plan. The outdoor area is landscaped with a large desk, bbq area in the front and a deck and spa pool in the backyard. Beautiful gardens add to the peaceful calm environment. Parking on site for two vehicles. Access can be difficult for large vehicles/towing as the property is on a private right of way. There is plenty of off street parking out the front of the property however. Hosts live locally and happy to help during your stay. The house is situated in a premium location at Waikuku Beach- it’s a short walk to the beach, easy walk to the playground, and the whale pool (toddlers pool). Waikuku Beach is a surf/swimming beach with summer patrol. It is arguably one of the best beaches in Canterbury - less crowds than Sumner! There is an estuary with abundant bird life - walking and biking tracks - and a quick 5minute drive to Pegasus for the supermarket.
