Our Mountain View Retreat is a lower level end unit that's filled with natural light & has everything you need to make you feel right at home. Take in the view from the balcony while watching the sun fade away into the mountains or unwind by the fire in a comfy throw. Perfectly situated between Windham & Hunter Mountains, & close to the quaint village of Tannersville, we're just minutes away from bike & hiking trails, golf, zip lines, skiing, tubing, restaurants, shops, festivals & more. All the comforts of home and more. The master bedroom has a queen bed with en suite bath. The guest bedroom has two double beds with a full bathroom located just down the hall. We have an abundance of linens, blankets, pillows and towels, plus complimentary toiletries in each bathroom. We offer high speed internet with wifi, a 40” smart TV, and a blu-ray/dvd player. You can watch your favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and more (we offer free accounts for Netflix, Sling TV and Pandora...other apps would require guest login). We have a new washer and dryer available for our guests to use inside the condo. With a seasonal pool, clubhouse, and plans in the making for a sport court, our home is truly a year round gem. We offer contactless check-in and check-out with our key lockbox. We are also just a phone call, text or email away should a guest need to contact us. Our condo is nestled in the woods on a quiet country road. Take advantage of the seasonal activities: skiing, golf, hiking, and more with Hunter Mountain approximately 7 miles in one direction and 6 miles to Windham Mountain in the other. For the avid hiker a short drive will get you to the trailhead for Camel's Hump, Thomas Cole, Black Dome, and Blackhead Mountains. Within a ten mile radius you can also access Windham High Peak, Burnt Knob Trail Loop and the Acre Point Trail Loop, and to the south there are Colgate Lake, North Point and Kaaterskill Falls trails. Located on Big Hollow Road in Maplecrest you will find CD Lane Park, also known as Batavia Kill Recreational Center, which offers baseball, soccer field, regulation basketball court, playground, pavilion, picnic tables with bbq's, restrooms, and, lest we forget the beautiful lake and beach area. We take great pride in our home and always provide a clean, warm and welcoming environment for our guests to enjoy so they will have a memorable experience staying at our place. We ask that no food be brought into the bedrooms....Thank you. Please note that we welcome children of all ages; however, our home is not "baby proof".....we do not have safety features on our cabinets, draws or outlets, a fireplace guard, a crib or a high chair. Parking for our condo is to the right of the building (B) which is directly across from the pool and clubhouse. There is NO SMOKING allowed inside the unit, on the back deck or near the front entrance. If you smoke on the property, please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. Our HOA requires the names of all guests who will be staying at the condo. This information needs to be obtained prior to occupancy. You may be asked to sign a waiver when using our private pool. POOL The swimming pool at MOUNTAIN VIEW ESTATES is not supervised by a lifeguard or other responsible person. In place of on-site supervision, this facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all homeowners/occupants. SAFETY RULES: NEVER SWIM ALONE A minimum of 2 adults, 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever this swimming pool is in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION Children under 16 years of age must at all times be accompanied by a parent or adult responsible for their safety and behavior while at the swimming pool. Minimum of two adults rule also applies. IN AN EMERGENCY, CONTACT HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND NOTIFY THE BOARD A free telephone is provided on the pool deck. Telephone numbers for the nearest emergency medical services are posted. ONLY USE THIS SWIMMING POOL DURING POSTED HOURS OF OPERAITON Daily 10AM – 8PM In the event the pool must be closed, a sign will be posted. These signs must not be ignored.
