This is a traditional period English family home. The rooms are airy and large and the house overlooks lovely countryside. There are 3 double rooms. Sleeps 6. Guests stay on a self catering basis and have full use of the very well equipped kitchen at all times. Only one family at any one time. Occasionally the owner will be in residence with her dog. From May to October the entire house can be booked for 8 guests. See our other listing. This is a fully equipped family home with aga, American fridge freezer, washer, dryer, smart tv with sky. One bedroom is downstairs as is the shower room. The house is set in beautiful East Sussex countryside with long views over the hills. There are plenty of places to walk near the house. Hastings is about 10 minutes away with its lovely Old Town, fishing huts, pier, beaches, shops and restaurants. It is within easy reach of Bexhill, Eastbourne and the picturesque small town of Rye. Bodiam Castle is about 10 minutes away. The nearest small town is Battle with it's history from 1066 being the site of the Battle of Hastings and there are numerous pubs, cafes and small shops to visit there along with the Abbey. There is a very good pub which does excellent food nearby. There is ample free parking at the property.
