Craven View Shepherds Huts "The Herdsman "

We have two beautiful shepherds huts, on our small working farm, situated near theWeets Hill above the small town of Barnoldswick. Wake up to the stunning panoramic views looking towards Craven and the Dales including Ingleborough, Penyghent and Malham Cove. Just a ten minute walk away is Barnoldswick with its unique selection of independent retail shops and town square. Visit Bancroft Mill Engine Museum, walk or cycle along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal to the famous mile tunnel at Foulridge. Each hut has a kingsize bed, seating area, small kitchen area and an ensuite bathroom including a flushing toilet, sink and walk-in rain shower.. but please keep showers brief as the watetr supply is from a natural spring and the boiler capacity is limited. Underfloor heating adds to the cosy feel and also a TV for those dark winter evenings. We are situated in a rural location above the small town of Barnoldswick, and within a 10 minute walk you can experience its range of independent retail shops, pubs and cafes. Alternatively, don your walking boots and explore the many footpaths that surround our farm including the Weets Hill, ( where on a very clear day, you can see Blackpool Tower,) Then, return to enjoy a lovely hot shower before relaxing on the patio and cooking your tea on the garden stove. As you leave Moorgate Road you will travel up Folly Lane, which is a single track lane with passing places. Lots of footpaths and a short drive in to town with free parking. Alternatively, bring your mountain bike.
