Welcome to our stone-built end terrace cottage, which comfortably sleeps 4, has bathroom with shower, kitchen, dining area and living room. Centrally situated on the high street of rural Bentham. Popular village situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and Forest of Bowland AONB and a short distance from the Lake District. Great location for walkers, cyclist and motor cyclists. Dog friendly home, but unfortunately no garden although plenty of stunning countryside walks. Our cottage has been modernised, but retains it charm. Free Wifi, downstairs underfloor heating and central heating to the first and second floors. Washer/dryer and dishwasher for guests personal use. We are happy to have young children staying, but do not have stairgates and both bedrooms have double bed. A travel cot is available on request. The sofa in the living room can also be used as a sofa bed. If required, contact the host and extra bedding will be supplied. There is on the street parking and also a long stay car park which is signposted with cut throughs to Main Street. Easy walking distance to pubs, bakery, cafes and local supermarkets, shops and local farmers market. 6 miles from Ingleton, Whitescar Caves and Waterfalls. 10 miles from Kirby Lonsdale 30 miles to Skipton 43 miles to Windermere and the Lake District. Village is accessible on the Leeds to Morecambe train line. The popular Three Peaks Walking Challenge of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent are nearby.
