There is a cozy gas fireplace that always sets the right mood. The open kitchen is fully equipped for cooking & baking. The back yard is fenced-in, perfect for kids & pets. There is a pond and lovely nature trail just outside the back gate and a children's park across the street in the front of the house. Walkable to nearby grocery, wine/spirits, gym, & restaurants. Available for 27 day rentals or more. The cozy cottage is just that: cozy. Our family loves spending time here as I’m originally from Pleasant Hill and my daughter has 7 cousins who all live in town. We love walking the 2 mile nature trail as the entrance is just a half block down the road. Chloe loves fishing in the lake out back and riding her bike around the lake. I enjoy having a cup of coffee and sitting by the fire as I watch Chloe play outside. It really is a great home away from home. You will have full access to the house which includes a washer and dryer if needed. The back yard is fully fenced in for the enjoyment of kids and pets. Just make sure to pick up after your pet so the backyard remains enjoyable for all. We want to make your visit stress free! We are located right on the edge of town next to all the new restaurants (pub, pizza, Mexican, and Chinese). Also within walking distance is a full service grocery store with pharmacy, a wine/spirits shop, and gym. For families staying for extended periods of time, there are 2 childcare facilities nearby; one of them is just a short 3 block walk from the house. Many come to Pleasant Hill via the KD trail which goes right through downtown. There is a great wine shop that also serves paninis as well as a coffee shop with excellent coffee. There is a greasy spoon diner that has a killer breakfast and even an old saloon to grab a drink, play pool, and chat with a friendly local. There are several shops down town as well.
