Set between the sea and open countryside, it benefits from a traditional pub and a fine restaurant, both within 50 meters. The glorious Heritage Coast coastal path is within 200m, and the nearby town of Bridgend is a 10 minute drive, or easy journey on public transport that runs hourly from outside the cottage. Cardiff and Swansea are within 30 minutes drive, accessed via the M4 some 15 minutes away. Public transport is available from outside the cottage. The cottage is fitted to a high specification, newly furnished and decorated. Downstairs has an enclosed entrance hall, lounge with stove fireplace, separate dinning room and a galley kitchen. The family bathroom is also on the ground floor. An additional shower room and toilet is on the first floor. The two large bedrooms are characterised by their pitch-pine floors and sea / countryside views. Whilst bed layout is flexible, a Kingsize bed with pull-out single makes up the main bedroom, whilst an equally large second bedroom can is made up of two singles. Nyth Bran is the perfect seaside retreat for fun family holidays, cosy quiet breaks or active adventure seekers. Self contained holiday cottage. Parking available immediately outside. Ceri and Rob live just a few miles away and usually drop by soon after arrival to make sure everything is ok. They are contactable throughout your stay. Access to the cottage is via a key safe. To find Nyth Bran: Driving from the M4, exit Junction 35 and follow A473 to the west for some 5 miles, passing over 2 roundabouts. At the third, take first exit and follow sings for the B4265. Pass through Ewenny and St. Brides, until the junction with the B4524, sign posted Southerndown. Follow road in to the village, Nyth Bran is on the left, on the bend opposite the Golden Cups pub. Set in the heart of the village of Southerndown, Nyth Bran is within an easy walk of Dunraven Bay, one of South Wales' finest beaches. The Golden Cups pub and Frolics Restaurant are both within 50m and cater for a range a tastes, from simple bar meals to fine Italian dinning. A range of leisure activities are within a few minutes drive, including Golf at Southerndown Golf Club, ridding at Ogmore By Sea, surfing at one of the many beaches and the option to explore a range of ancient ruins and castles. Most guests arrive by car, but the is an hourly bus service from practically outside the cottage (opposite the Pub) that runs between Bridgend and Llantwit Major. Both connect to Cardiff and further afield by rail. Cardiff Wales Airport is some 15 miles away.
