Diamond P - Peace in the Piney Woods

The Diamond P is a peaceful retreat in the East Texas Piney Woods. This barndominium-style home also offers a wide covered porch, large patio with fire pit, tiki bar and hot tub where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature. Kids will love the tree house, or the play house tucked back in the woods. Sitting on twenty acres that include walking trails and a creek, it is perfect for a family reunion. Ambitious visitors can camp in the yard or wooded clearings and enjoy nearby Lake Palestine. The outdoor patio faces west. It is perfect for enjoying an outdoor meal while watching the sunset. The tiki bar has lights and water, so you can serve food and drinks from it while enjoying music through the outdoor speakers. A large fire pit is available for bonfires. The hot tub (off patio) is best enjoyed in spring or fall during cooler weather. The entire house is at your disposal. We hope you enjoy the outdoor patio and tiki bar. Kids can play on the slide, tire swing, trampoline, tree house and play house. There are trails in the 20 ACRES’s of woodland as well as a creek at the bottom of the property. We are available by phone or text for problems; our goal is provide you a great escape and not intrude upon your solitude. The Diamond P is set at the very end of a one-lane country road with only four other neighbors. On 20 acres of land, it has a 250 acre cow field to one side and 50 acres of timber on the other two. The yard and field offer plenty of space for camping, outdoor sports, or a place to have a bonfire. The wooded trails are great for peaceful walks, and solitude. Lake Palestine is known for sport-fishing, and public access is less than five miles away. It takes only 10 minutes to get to Tyler to reach shopping, entertainment and more. We have plenty of level parking if you want to bring a boat or jet ski, and the one-lane road is paved although our driveway is firm-packed gravel. Uber and Lyft are available, but we recommend personal vehicles as public transit is available only inside of Tyler city limits.
