Beautiful views and terrass, Casa Mathilde

My place is a cozy apartment in the middle of mountains is great for cycling and walking. Many walking tracks from the village. The sea is 10 -15 minutes by bus or train. A view of the mountain river which is great for cooling off hot summer days. The old medieval ambient triggers the mind. You’ll love my place because of the views, the ambiance, and the location. Casa Mathilde is good for couples and solo adventurers. (Please notice smoking and pets are not allowed in the flat.) My place has an unique view from the living room. It is cozy and very thought out in every detail. It has an romantic aura. Internet is available in at the Piazza Happy days bar ask Willy for code. From the terrrace of casa Mathilde you see the mountains and the river. The river is great during hot summer days to cool down and take a bath. The restaurants are all charming and excellent food. I have my nice friend Salvatore who will provide everything you need for the flat. He speaks french and Italian (no english) He has an antique shop if you are interested. In the bar Happy days in the middle of the piazza works a very friendly Italian, Willy. He can provide information about the village and tracking opportunities. Airole is a vibrant and cozy village with a pizzeria, small food store and two bars. It has a piazza that is unique with the architecture, church and colors. For hot summers it is idyllic to take a dip in the river pools on walking distance. There are a bus going to the larger town ventimiglia by the sea from Airole piazza. The train station is situated in the lower part of the village and the schedule for the train you find at the staion.The bus and train leaves some three times a day for Ventimiglia. Do not forget to buy tickets for the train in Ventimiglia. There is a larger parking space in the lower part of the village. To get to Casa Mathilde there are stairs so please notice if you have children or any disabilities that it is not the easiest to access.
