Billy Branch Hideaway

Nestled in the trees, in the middle of beautiful Wolffork Valley, Billy Branch is perfect for; family gatherings, couples retreats, or girls weekends. It is secluded yet close enough to town to enjoy local shopping, restaurants, and attractions. There is plenty of room for the whole family to hang out, play games, watch tv, grill out (gas supplied) or cook dinner in a fully equipped kitchen. Billy Branch is secluded and quiet. The whole house is yours to hang out with the family, relax, play games, watch a movie, or read a book. It is surrounded by woods with pretty views and relaxing atmosphere. There are 2 large bedrooms upstairs that share a bath, a master suite downstairs with bath, and a pull out couch in the living with a half bath. A gas grill is provided on the grilling porch with outdoor seating. We also provide grilling tools. There is a large, open, fully equipped kitchen as well. We also provide a standard coffee maker with filters, coffee, creamer, and sugar. We love pets and allow them at Billy Branch. We would appreciate it if you would help clean up after them and don’t allow muddy feet on the furniture. A washer and dryer is provided with pods and dryer sheets. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen with pods. The whole house is yours, but we ask that you not go into the detached shop which is also on the property. We use the attic for storage which is a locked door upstairs so we ask that you please not go in that. Otherwise the house is yours including the firepit in the front yard and the grill on the front grilling porch. We are always available by phone or text. Our numbers will be provided on the welcome letter upon check in. Don’t hesitate to call or text with any needs. Although secluded, Billy Branch is within 15 minutes of Clayton with great shopping and restaurants. It is central to fantastic hiking and waterfalls. It offers the best of both worlds… quiet retreat and easy access to conveniences. Car is the best way to travel as Rabun County has no public transit and Uber is not available. There is an optional taxi service available. Please remember that you are in the woods so wildlife is abundant. You will probably have the opportunity to see raccoons, squirrels, deer, several birds, and maybe a bear. Although bears are beautiful, they are also dangerous, and will break into your car if you leave food there. So please take all food out of your car every night! And please do not set trash outside on the porch. There is a bear proof trashcan behind the house for all trash. No smoking please!
