The property is situated in a quiet road in central St. Leonards. It benefits from free on street parking and off-road parking to the rear. The room on the lower ground floor is accessed from the pavement level by steps. Here, your own front door opens into a light, airy space. The room has a king size bed, wifi, a smart TV, touch lamps throughout, a dining table/workplace and is centrally heated although a remote controlled electric heater is provided to ensure you're always cosy! I'm away quite a lot for work mainly Monday to Friday but my daughter stays at the house and is able to help with any problems. The entire lower ground floor is accessible from a private front door and is completely separate from the rest of the house so it really provides a 'come and go as you please self-catering' space. We may meet you in passing as the kitchen and bathroom are shared but it's more likely that we'll communicate via text message where necessary! We provide a mini fridge with semi-skimmed milk, orange juice and bottled water, bread, butter, croissants, jam, marmalade and honey together with cereal, biscuits too. Tea & coffee are above the kettle in the kitchen and available throughout your stay. The croissants are wonderful if placed on a baking tray in the oven on gas mark 5 for about 5 minutes! If you decide you'd like a fried breakfast you'll need to provide the ingredients but we have pots and pans and oil etc. Alternatively, there's a cafe called 'R' Jaks just to the right at the bottom of the road (a two-minute walk) that serves a full-English breakfast! Very local to a number of takeaways & pubs and within walking distance (10 minutes) of Asda supermarket. Convenient to the beautiful Alexandra Park too which extends all the way through to the centre of the town. There's a busy bus route to town and beyond at the bottom of the road. St. Leonards Warrior Square Station is a 25 minute walk away (1.4 miles) where trains go direct to London, Eastbourne, Brighton & Ashford. There is plenty of pay and display parking in the town and on the seafront, and free on-road parking in the town can be found from 6pm.
