You will be nestled in just under an acre of your own private slice of nature, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our cosy Lotus Bell Tent - "Marietta" - allows you to have a slice of nature, while being able to enjoy walking, eating and drinking and soaking up the wonderful countryside, things to see and places to eat and drink. Fall asleep listening to our owls and keep watch for the resident kestrel! Half an acre to yourself, to relax in and soak up your surroundings. The last couple of weeks to experience our 5 m Lotus Bell Tent with a double bed and two singles. Lots of your own space, outside hot and cold shower, new compostable toilet. Outside seating. BBQ and firepit with wood included. Veg patch and bug hotel to explore. We've tried to think of everything so you only have to arrive with your over night bag and your pjs. Friends, family and dog friendly. On public transport, walking distance to village shop, pubs and restaurants, national trust properties and even a Kent vineyard! The remake of the Darling Buds of May (The Larkins) was filmed up the road so you can go and explore. We live on site so here to help, but also to leave you to relax. We do have three sheep, some geese and ducks who are quite vocal, but also have their own space away from guests area. A friendly village with great access to local pubs and shops. Tranquil but also very convenient to public transport. You could spend the whole time on two feet or wheels. But also have parking on site. We have loved hosting visitors our little slice of heaven. Last few bookings left before we put the tent away until next year. We are conveniently situated in the village. We are at the early stages of re-wilding hedging so at the moment you will be next to our neighbours paddock and see some of their houses, but we have positioned the tent so you can see up the valley and it's quiet peaceful and surrounded by wildlife.
