Relax & unwind at this South Puget Sound high-bank beach house. It is nestled out in the country in the town of Lakebay & you will be amazed daily by the gorgeous view of Pitt Passage below. Take a short walk down the path right to the sandy shores of the South Puget Sound and explore the area on the kayaks or paddle boards. If you are looking for beauty, privacy & comfortable country living, look no further! Please note: This is a remote area & the WiFi service is not ideal to work from home. Enter through the gated driveway and drive a 1/4 mile down to the Key Peninsula Beach Beauty. There is ample outdoor/uncovered parking in the driveway. Walk into the gated front yard/garden and into the front door by accessing the keyless entry lock. As you enter, you will be taken aback by the amazing views of the South Puget Sound out of the large windows and slider out to the deck. The house has new scratch and water resistant laminate flooring throughout with nice area rugs in all the rooms, a mini-split heating/ac unit in the living room and big bedroom, a wall mounted fireplace in the small bedroom and a full water filtration system for the well water. Off the entry way is the fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful copper sink, stainless steel appliances, and a large island with a live-edge countertop, barstools for dining and large drawers for storage. Enjoy the open floor concept with the living room right off the entryway/kitchen. The living room is nice and cozy with a couch and chair for seating and a 55" flat screen smart TV with Netflix and Amazon set up for use. There is dimmable recessed lighting and also a corner nook with a small desk and office chair. Take in the stunning views of the Sound in any location of the living room. Walk out of the living room down the hall and you will find the full bathroom with new countertops, a copper sink and tile flooring. And the front load washer and dryer are also located in the hallway. The large bedroom had gorgeous views, french doors out to a private deck and king size bed. The small bedroom has a queen size bed and view of the garden in the front yard. Having a vehicle is a must when staying at the Key Peninsula Beach Beauty as it is out in the country and there are no forms of public transportation until you are in the town of Gig Harbor. There is plenty of outdoor/uncovered parking onsite at the house. This Key Peninsula Beach Beauty is located in the small town of Lakebay out on the Key Peninsula. Drive down a 1/4 mile gated driveway to the house and with only 1 house next door that is only used during the summer months, you will find this secluded country home to be extremely peaceful and quiet. Take in the view of Pitt Passage on the South Puget Sound from the deck out back, or walk down the hillside to enjoy the small rustic cabin, put your toes in the salt water and take long walks down the private beach. The town of Home is 10 minutes away and has a gas station, convenience store, post office and laundromat. There will also be a Mexican restaurant opening up any day now; 2 Margaritas. Key Center is approximately 15 minutes away and has a grocery store, hardware store and great Mexican restaurant, El Sombrero. For a bigger town with all the amenities, drive a bit further to Gig Harbor where you can find many shops, stores, restaurants and also medical facilities. From Gig Harbor, Tacoma is just over the Narrows Bridge and another 10 or so minute drive. Having a vehicle is a must when staying at the Key Peninsula Beach Beauty as it is out in the country and there are no forms of public transportation until you are in the town of Gig Harbor. There is plenty of outdoor/uncovered parking onsite at the house. We are a pet friendly home and pets are welcome with a $30 per pet nonrefundable pet fee. Instruction will be sent on how to pay this fee after your booking is confirmed. You can access the beach via a path around the side of the house and all the way down to the beach. Please note that there are no handrails along this path so use at your own risk. Once down at the beach you can enjoy the large yard & beach, and the kayaks and paddleboards. Please note: Due to the remote location, the Wi-Fi service is satellite with only 100 gbs/month. This is not ideal to work from home & we do not recommend it for our guests.
