Bake House is a semi-detached, 17th century cottage in the curtilage of Clifton Maybank House. The cottage combines traditional features with bright, modern styling. This charming property centres around a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, 55” smart TV, large sofas and cosy reading nooks either side of a chimney. A stylish, dual aspect kitchen/diner is well-equipped and comfortably seats 10 people. The first-floor has under-floor heating and comprises three bedrooms: one super-king with its own en-suite bathroom, and two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Both bathrooms are well appointed, including over-bath, high-pressure rain showers. A lawned front garden with flower borders has a picnic bench and barbecue for alfresco dining. Guests have the opportunity to explore the surrounding grounds with walks across the fields to the nearby river, bookable access to a tennis court and are within easy reach of Sherborne, Yeovil and surrounding villages. Ground Floor: Sitting room With comfortable seating for six guests, a wood burning stove, 55" smart television, and reading nooks with a chair and bean bags. Kitchen and dining area With an induction cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washer/dryer, dining table, benches and chairs. First Floor: Double bedroom Double aspect with a super-king size bed. En-suite shower room With a bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. Double bedroom With a double bed and rear garden views. Double bedroom With a double bed and front garden views. Family bathroom With a bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. Outside: An enclosed garden with bench table and seating for six guests and barbecue. Parking for two cars in the courtyard adjacent to the cottage. Additional Information: Travel cot and high chair available upon request. Sorry, no pets. The use of the tennis court needs to be booked via owners. Barbecue provided.
