A very big room, a big bed and close to the city

This house has recently been completely renovated from top to bottom. It has polished floor boards throughout, ducted heating and air conditioning (although it rarely needs either) and runs on 100% renewable energy (except the gas hot water, removing soon). It has high speed unlimited internet and right next to Cafe Bu. It is 3km from the city and Melbourne University. It is serviced by three tram routes and lies on the Canning St bicycle highway. This room is suitable for 2 guests maximum. This is a very big room upstairs at the front of the house. It has double glazed windows. You will have free run of the house (as if it were your own) except for the other bedrooms. I will be available to help you with anything you need to know. The house, like those around it, was built during the gold boom period of Melbourne in the 1880s. Our house is 21km (half an hour in off peak) from Melbourne airport by taxi/Uber etc. If you are near Southern Cross Station in the CBD catch the number 96 tram up Bourke St and Nicholson St and get off at stop 21 (Pigdon St) and walk 150m west along Pigdon St. If you are near Flinders St Station or Swanston St, catch tram numbers 1 or 8 up Swanston St and Lygon St and get off at stop 118 (Pigdon St) and walk 300m east along Pigdon St. Car parking is limited to 2 or 4 hours between 7am to 11pm Monday to Saturday. There is unlimited free parking 1km away in Apperley St, North Fitzroy. The nearest supermarket is Piedimonte's which is 700m east along Pigdon St. The nearest shopping centre (with multiple large supermarkets etc.) is Barkly Square which is 1.8kms north west of the house.
