A charming period cottage, full of character in the heart of the Peak District. In the highly sought after village of Baslow. Within walking distance to the Chatsworth estate. Recently renovated to a high standard with a boutique feel ensuring all of your needs are met, giving a family of 4, a set of friends or 2 couples a holiday to remember. The cottage consists of 2 good sized bedrooms with their own bathroom each. One having a king sized bed, next to a bathroom with a large walk in shower and the other has a superking bed which can be adapted into twins if required, this has a bathroom with a roll top bath. Central heating throughout, ensuring a cosy stay. All connected to the Hive system, to ensure its toastie for your arrival. Downstairs consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, smart TV and internet. A well equipped kitchen with everything that you would require to keep yourselves well fed and watered. Next to the kitchen is a laundry/ boot room. Also a lockable shed for bikes, should you need it. There is also a decent sized and quiet hidden secret garden at the back, ideal for relaxing and long summer lunches. To add to your experience, we have provided top quality bedding, fluffy dressing gowns, fresh towels, shampoo, body wash, hand wash etc You will receive a locally sourced welcome pack upon your arrival. To the rear of the cottage there is a designated parking space. The entrance to this can be quite awkward depending on the size of your vehicle. There is also free parking within the village, on School Lane and around. Within the village of Baslow are a number of useful amenities, with plenty of choice as to where to eat and drink. All within walking distance. There is also a well stocked spa & post office at the top of School Lane and a co-op on Church Road. Conveniently our neighbouring building is a beauticians, should you want to book any treatments during your stay. We live locally so can be on hand to help, but plan to leave you to enjoy your holiday. Beautiful Baslow is the perfect location for a holiday in the Peaks. Lots of local amenities to keep you entertained. Spar, post office, Co-op, pubs, restaurants all within walking distance. Amazing walks and cycle trails to go on. Easily accessible to Sheffield, Chesterfield and Manchester.
