Croissants provided in the a.m. for your enjoyment. Wineries nearby. Surrounded by nature & tranquility. Charming, cozy, peaceful, this cabin in the woods is the perfect place for a romantic get-away. Snuggle up in the comfy king bed and morning will greet you with a stunning view of the redwoods. Enter through the redwood arbor along the slate path into the custom stone patio. Enjoy a book or your breakfast croissant on the patio chairs surrounded by fir, redwoods, eucalyptus and the beautiful flowers in the planter (Website hidden by Airbnb) you walk onto the porch, have a seat and remove your shoes as you begin to relax.Then enter into a nice little kitchenette, slow down and put on some slippers provided for you. Hang your coat and stay a while. Sit in a chair or at the breakfast table. Have a snack provided or select a bubbly flavored beverage from the fridge. Toaster oven, microwave, water kettle, snack bars, coffee, hot cocoa and a Keurig , dishes and silverware meet all the essential needs in this refuge away from home. In the evening, relax under the patio lights and gaze at the night sky. The bedroom boasts a king size bed with a down pillow top mattress, memory foam and ergonomic mattress and lower body Noble Pillow for optimal back and side sleeping. Enjoy the reading nook or cuddle up in bed on the organic cotton sheets for ultimate relaxation. Fall asleep to the sound of crickets out the window and wake up to the sun streaming in from the skylight. Super fast wifi allows for wireless calls and streaming internet for remote working or just an evening of Netflix and chill. The ensuite bathroom provides a marble tile shower and smooth marble stones for ultimate grounding experience under the rain water shower head or try the hand held shower wand. Organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided. Once you dry off with the organic cotton towel, slip into a plush fleece robe and use the amenities in the marble topped vanity. A top of the line hair dryer, q-tips, and make up remover pads gives you the feeling you are at home yet not! Croissants or muffins magically appear in the bread box provided on the porch in the morning for your delight. Come to relax and enjoy some time in the woods. NOTE TO FAMILIES and parties of 3 and 4: The space is designed and ideal for two guests. For a 3rd and 4th person we have a twin-size tri-fold futon mat for the floor, also with fitted sheets, a fluffy comforter and pillow. We also have a pack and play for a little one. Due to the size of the space each individual no matter how small count as a guest. There is no baby/toddler/child-proofing in the cabin, so please proceed with caution if you elect to bring the little ones. If you have a party of 3-4 let us know if they are in need of a pack-n-play or floor mattress. The surrounding property is forested, with bushes, trees and wild nature. This is not the suburbs with streetlights. It gets dark and quiet at night, unless it is cricket season. Then you will get a lovely cricket serenade at night. This is coastal California, it is green and lush in the spring, then brown and dry in the summer and fall. The winters can cold and wet. Summers are hot and dry, but the beach is always cooler, just down the road. It can be a 20° difference, just a 10 minute drive away. If driving to town is too much enjoy the snack food we have and frozen organic meals for an extra fee. PARKING: Free driveway parking in front of Tiny Cabin. Enough for 2 cars. Guests will have access to the entire cabin is 320 square feet and located on owner's 10 acre property yet independent of the house withe private yard. It is located on a gated road with keypad entry. Parking driveway in front of cabin. Neighborhood is quiet and very safe. As needed Neighborhood is on a private gated road. The property was 30 + acre ranch and was split into three parcels back in the 80's. Now three properties exist behind the gate. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and a true haven away from the hustle and bustle of town. Though Uber and Lyft have been known to drop off and pick up having a car is recommended as ride-shares are not guaranteed. Great care has gone into making this place a wondrous quaint little spot for each and every guest. Gate code and door code is provided for self check in once listing is booked. There is little cell phone coverage in Bonny Doon, you will need to confirm all directions before heading up. Bonny Doon is coastal forested area and fire is a very real hazard in the dry months. Also: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside or outside the home. Thank you for protecting our home and our neighborhood. During the summer, we have a window air conditioning unit. Combined with the ceiling fan, this keeps the cabin nice and cool. Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Update: Please note that we are taking extra precautions to keep our home disinfected, which specifically includes the use of disinfectant on all door knobs, light switches, railings, faucet handles, etc... in addition to all high-use areas. Please be sure to read through the Cabin Manual upon check-in. It will help you make the most of your stay, as well as remind you of a few requests we make to keep you and our home in good shape.
