Be among the first guests to Camp Potomac Peak- a soon to be modern cabin and elevated camping destination just outside Berkeley Springs, WV. The cabin is fresh off a total renovation and features everything you need for a weekend away in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. A huge wrap around deck provides great hang out space and includes a hot tub, outdoor TV and music system, and a propane grill. One private bedroom with a queen bed is supplied with high quality linens and bedding. An open floor plan houses the kitchen, dining area, and living room. An electric mid century modern fireplace creates a cozy night inside, while a smokeless fire pit, stocked with dry firewood, creates a memorable night outside. Living room sofa is comfortable for sleeping, and a queen air mattress with extra linens and pillows are provided. Camp Potomac Peak is located on a ridge of Cacapon Mountain and offers stellar views over the Potomac River into Maryland and Pennsylvania. Situated on 8 acres, the property offers plenty of room for stretching your legs and walking through the gardens. The cabin is dog friendly- we allow one, well behaved dog per stay. A $75 pet fee covers additional cleaning as well as a donation to our local Humane Society. Reliable, fast wifi and good cell phone coverage. We will be available 24 hours a day for any questions during your stay, and live just five minutes down the road. Once booked, we will email a Field Guide to help navigate all our favorite spots around the area. In a nutshell, a 10 minute drive brings you to the historic downtown of Berkeley Springs (shops, antiques, farmers market, brewery, historic movie theater, great restaurants) and in 20 minutes and you're at the fantastic Cacapon State Park (lake beach, hiking, 18-hole golf course, mountain biking, horseback riding, tennis)
