We welcome you. We are situated in a hidden valley and are close to almost everywhere! 15 minutes from the beautiful and historical Baileys of Glenrowan organic winery serving wood fired pizzas. Same to Booths Winery (formally Taminick Cellars) and the Black Dog Brewery. We’re central to Morrisons Winery in Glenrowan (17 mins), Wangaratta (25mins), Benalla (25mins) and Yarrawonga. Also an easy travelling distance to historic Beechworth and access to those townships along the Ovens Valley, Myrtleford, Porepunkah, Bright then onto the Victorian Alpine and High Country areas. Rutherglen and the King Valley are also not too far. Lunch at the Brown Brother’s Winery is so delicious we recommend a visit there. Our home sits in an elevated position on 40 beautiful acres of land showcasing panoramic views from all aspects of the property. Nestled in the foothills of the renowned and lauded Warby Ovens National Park. The Park is characterised by three distinct vegetation. Granitic hills, woodlands and the Warby Range. The forest is filled with native orchids in the winter, wildflowers and grasses in the spring and summer. The bushwalking is beautiful. The lower areas of the ovens river offer some of the best still water canoeing in the state. Our home offers access to the ranges on foot via Skeets Track or easy vehicle access is only moments from home. Small eagles and falcons soar overhead. Kookaburras laughing at the wallabies and kangaroos hopping through the bushland. Tadpoles swim in the rock pools spilling into the dam. Frogs croaking in the evening are calming. As the seasons change views of the vineyard and fruit and nut trees offer an ever changing landscape, giving reason to return seasonally. In addition the canola fields in flower tantalise the senses turning the landscape into a veritable tapestry of green and gold. Our grapevines and trees are over 40 years old and impress as they present their beauty across seasonal changes. Ripe fruit, nuts and berries can be enjoyed by guests who are free to roam over our property. We have a lovely stone cellar built in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s to wander through. There are a number of farm sheds and usually one of us can be found working around the property. Please wander up and say g’day. Our property is a protection zone for wildlife. The property is 90% natural bushland with a mature orchard and two vineyards. Come and join us, we welcome you, blessings Tracy and Adrian Your car park is right beside your suite. Once unpacked you can park in the shade underneath the peppercorn tree.
