The greatest impact one can make on nature is no impact at all. Just imagine this. Doing your Zoom meetings hanging in a tent overlooking dunes, rivers and the ocean. Best part is you are close to everything. Brookings is 5 miles away and Crescent city is 13 miles away. Just you. No smoke from campfires or overflowing porta pottys to deal with. Nothing but 600 acres of fire roads and game trails behind you. Access to the bathroom in the house . I decided to open my home to airbnb. I must say that the experience and meeting the people has restored some of my faith in humanity . I did not know there was so many intelligent, well traveled, like minded ,conscientious people all living here in this country as well. Now I want to share my hanging tree tent experience With like minded adventurous travelers. My little slice of heaven is point 89 acres with a gorgeous view of the Tolowa Dee Ni Nation dunes, the Mouth of the Smith river and a big portion of the ocean.  Personally I have issues with a lot of campgrounds  because I don't like the smoke from the fires, I don't like overflowing porta pottys and being around a lot of people. To me camping has always meant solitude and nature. I bought this hanging tree cabana and honestly i will find it hard to ever sleep in a-tent on the ground again. I feel safer up there. This house has only been here for about a year and before that it was a major crossing for many wild animals And still is. They were here 1st and they never let me forget that. In fact a typical night usually brings a herd of elk, black bear, a mountain lion, some raccoons and a civet.  The elk stand around and chew quietly, The bear has come up and sniffed the tent, And the mountain lion has come up and growled. My response was to turn music on my phone on  and Bang on my tin cup with my flashlight!  I enjoy cooking outdoors and I put a small kitchen up there. A propane burner , sink space,  an ice chest cutlery and plates Is already up there. Bathroom access is in the house ONLY. Because let's face it we all know what rolls down hill And that's where my house is! I am around doing my daily thing usually. If not Iam available by ph (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Close to the 101 but I only hear the waves and seals. Close to the Lucky 7 casino. Remote but not too remote! When you arrive I will greet you to go upto the campsite and make any necessary adjustments and make sure you have what you need . I also have some bikes available to use if you like. Doing your Zoom meetings hanging in a tent overlooking dunes, rivers and the ocean. Best part is you are close to everything. Brookings is 5 miles away and Crescent city is 13 miles away. Winters are intense here so this may only b1e available certain months. This experience is not for everyone. Children, elderly, and pets are not 1a good fit for this. When entering the tent you need to try to jump up and land in the middle to get yourself balanced and decide where you want to anchor it down so it doesn't spin! Everything you bring in the tent will wind up underneath you. No shoes in the tent. I am still getting used to it myself and seeing what amenities and how to add them sustainably.  If this sounds like fun to you then you can be apart of the experience and help decide what can make it even greater for everyone to enjo;y. The tent is rated for up to 500 lbs.  I also look at this as a possible romantic get away experience. I do have another 2 or 3 person tent available And an inflatable twin mattress that can accommodate extra people
