Set on the peaceful village which was once the homeland of the Lancashire witches, the cottage is bright, cheerful and much loved by returning guests. Tilly Cottage boasts views from the window and balcony that enables guests to take in the ever changing evening sunsets over Pendle Hill while enjoying a bottle of wine. Well heated on colder months with a flickering fire it is a perfect place to unwind, and enjoy the surrounding places of interest where there is something for everyone. Newly renovated, and cheerful with window and balcony views. Well heated with optional gas flame fire. Equipped with Smart TV snd Netflix. In the immediate 2 mile vicinity and can enjoy a country breakfast 2 mins up the road from 9am, and a local country pub/restaurant is justa few mins walk from the cottage. A village supermarket is just a 2 minute drive down into the nearby village of Barrowford. Whether you meander round the country lanes and visit the dog friendly inns, immerse your self in Forest of Bowland, visit the historic towns of Skipton and Clitheroe, meander up the scenic roads to The Lake District (just over an hour away), travel over the moors to Haworth (home of the Brontes), take the old stream train at Embassy, or pick from the many other places of interest, you are sure to have a lovely stay.i Front room with attached balcony; kitchen, 2 bedrooms with double beds snd bathroom There will be a welcome pack on arrival however the host (Anne) will ensure the door is open at check in time and be available to meet arriving guests at check in if required. She is available to speak to at any time throughout the stay and is never far away so should guests need any information, at any time, please do not hesitate to contact her. A small, quiet, peaceful and much sought after cosy country village, also very friendly and accommodating. There are 2 pubs, one very small and but a stones throw from Tilly Cottage across the road, the other being a pub/restaurant that comes with an excellent reputation for food. Also set a mile higher up alone in the country there is a small coffee shop which provides a good breakfast from 9am. Car, walks, cycling and taxis are all a good way to travel. Buses limited to once every hour. The cottage is dog friendly. There is no garden (a balcony instead) however immediately to the rear of the cottage there is an entrance to a field where pets can stretch their legs etc.
