Cheerful 1-bedroom cottage in countryside village

Take it easy in this unique cottage, filled with quirky features such as a gateway to Narnia and the TARDIS! It is set in a cute village with several lovely nature walks through the valley and around the local nature reserve (Summer Leys), but within a close proximity to great shopping locations and activity centres (Rushden Lakes, Silverstone, Wicksteed). The village also has a fabulous traditional pub (Stags Head), a club with panoramic views over the Nene Valley, and a store for basic goods. Filled with quirky design, this cottage is an ecclectic mix of many styles while still maintaining a cosy and historical vibe. There is a private bedroom, along with shared kitchen, livingroom, bathroom and garden areas. There is room for a single car to park out the front in the shared lay-by I will usually be around, working in the office (inside the TARDIS), but otherwise I can always be texted and usually reply within half an hour. The village is a cute and peaceful place with lots of rich history. The views over the valley are beautiful and the area is great for birdwatchers. The village is within driving distance of both Wellingborough and Northampton train station. There are bus routes into both towns too and several reliable taxi services. Within 30 minute walking distance of a supermarket and other amenities.
