There is also a sofa bed and large sofa (enough to spread out on) downstairs, if you require extra accommodation. Downstairs is open plan with an open wood fire, large farmhouse table enough to seat up to eight, fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hobs, washing machine, fridge with small freezer box Upstairs there are two large rooms, each with a double and single bed in, and electric radiators. The bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet. Bedding and towels are provided. On the landing is a football table and there are further stairs to the attic, (currently used for storage only and not accessible) Outside there is ample parking to the side, enough for 2 plus cars. A beautiful large open garden with stunning views over the valley, a fire pit and seating, tree swing and washing line. There is an open barn attached to the house and a terrace to the front with a bench, perfect for an early evening aperitif and a further terrace to the back overlooking the garden, with a large table and assortment of deck chairs All areas are accessible apart from the attic. There is an English speaking family in the next village should you require a point of contact A tiny and lovely little hamlet, away from main roads, but close enough to a local town, Dun Le Palestel, to stock up on supplies at the local supermarket and weekly market (10km a bike ride away). A bread van visits the hamlet, 2-3 times a week, with fresh bread and croissants. A short stroll down hill is a stunning little village; La Celle Dunois, with a river running through, local beach, tennis courts, riding school, restaurants and friendly pub, with regular music events. Further afield there are three swimming lakes and stunning scenery, where canoes can be hired. Limoges and Poitier airports are approx an hour away and cheap flights from Ryan Air are available most days. Both airports have car hire facilities. The local train station is in La Souterriane, 30km away, where there are regular trains to Paris. We have a sprinkling of bikes and you are welcome to use them but they have all seen better days and probably need tyres pumping up,
