Private “Meadow” Room in the Emerson Guest House

Private room with shared bath in a guest house in downtown Vergennes. The Emerson Guest House is a beautiful, historic building in the heart of the Little City. We purchased this historic home in October 2021 and are gradually making improvements. Furnishings may be different than as pictured when you arrive. In the gracious entryway you’ll find freshly brewed coffee in the morning. On the second floor, you’ll have access to your room and the shared bathroom. Outside, there is ample park-like space to enjoy, with multiple fire pits and seating areas. The Emerson Guest House is located on Main St. in downtown Vergennes, just a short walk from shops, restaurants, the Vegennes Opera House and the town library. The guest house is centrally located on Main Street in downtown Vergennes. It is a short walk to all the Little City has to offer. You can park right in front on the street or in the parking lot to the left of the house. In the winter, there is a street parking ban, so you must park in the lot. We live on the first and third floors of the guest house with our toddler and dog. We’re around to greet you when you arrive and generally available for questions, but you’ll have lots of privacy during your stay.
