Central House is located in a beautiful rural village location in the historic village of Badsworth in West Yorkshire, on a quiet development of similar houses. A central Yorkshire location, ideal for exploring the whole Yorkshire area. Parking is available for two cars on the drive (garage use not included in hire fees), on-street parking also available. Private rear garden with mature shrubs surrounding it and outside covered seating area. **Hot Tub available at extra cost (please enquire). You enter by the front door which immediately puts you in the middle of the house. Turn left through double doors to the living room, or turn right to enter the kitchen. Also in the entrance area is access to the twin downstairs bedroom and across from that the downstairs toilet. Storage for coats and utility appliances is to the left the the full length mirror in the same reception area. The Living Room has a large wall-mounted TV with the basic Sky Channels. The TV is a smart TV. A DVD player is available together with a selection of DVDs to watch at your leisure. There are double doors at the end of the living room that lead to the outside covered seating area in the garden, a light to the left of the doors can switch not he outside lighting in this area. The Kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker and hob, plus a large fridge freezer. There is a farm house style dining table for 4 people and an additional breakfast bar for two. Over the dining table is an elegant light that can be dimmed for a more atmospheric dining experience. From the kitchen you can access the rear garden via the side door. If you come back with muddy shoes please also use the front side door to access the kitchen direct rather than entering through the main door. There is a box for your shoes in the kitchen by the door. To go upstairs, there is a winding stair case that leads to 4 further bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower and toilet. The other three upstairs bedrooms share the Family bathroom and toilet that has a shower over a jacuzzi corner bath. There is one other double room and two single rooms. The twin room from the ground floor also shares the family bathroom for showering and bathing, although they do have the downstairs toilet to hand. Outside to the rear is a private garden with mature shrubs. This is accessed in several ways. Firstly it can be accessed via the side door to the kitchen. Secondly it can be accessed from the double doors to the living room. And additionally it can be access from the side gate of the property which leads to the cut-de-sac area of the development. In the garden there is the covered seating area, a paved stone flooring area and a grassed area. In the corner of the garden is the Hot Tub and outside Shower which can only be used by prior arrangement and at an additional cost (enquire for current pricing). The property is most suited for those with a car although there is a bus service that runs through the village with buses coming from Pontefract and visiting the surrounding villages. Parking is available for two cars on the drive. There is a garage but the use of the garage is not included in the normal hire fees. (If this might be required for extended stay to store possessions as is often required for those moving house and awaiting completion, please contact us to discuss the additional hire of the garage space.) Although we can call on helpful staff if there are any particular matters arising that need personal attention. The village of Badsworth is an old farming village that has developed into a desirable residential location with many traditional stone houses and barn conversions. There is a local hotel and pub offering good food and drink, this is just a short walk away (across the farmer's field along a hard-standing path, simply follow the path down from the church towards the fields). This picturesque village is ideal for daily strolls around the area and some paths lead to the fields surrounding the village for those of you wanting longer walks. The village is well lit for evening walks around the village too. Badsworth is rural located but close to amenities and shops in the local villages of Upton, Ackworth, and Hemsworth which each have supermarkets of varying sizes. In addition this, the village is very close to the intersection of the A1 and the M62 which gives rapid travel options to a variety of destinations in Yorkshire. The M1 is also only 15 minutes away by car to extend your easy travel reach of any destination in Yorkshire and the surrounding counties. Parking is available for two cars on the forecourt and extra street parking is available for larger vehicles, if required. The village location is ideal for sightseeing throughout Yorkshire (all counties) due to its central location and connection with key road networks of A1, M1, and M62. It is closest Leeds as the main city just 30 mins drive away. However, there are surrounding larger villages with supermarkets for all your consumer needs. Very close is the Xscape entertainment centre where you can also ski all year round not he real-snow slopes. North Yorkshire is just up the A1, including historic locations such as York. The coast is less than 2 hours away with popular locations such as Scarborough and Whitby within easy reach for day trips. The Yorkshire Dales is also easily accessed via entry just off the M1. Anything Yorkshire is within easy reach by car for a day out. The most local town however is the historic town on Pontefract which has a castle ruins and cobbled paving to the town, retaining many of the old town features to enjoy with many shops and eateries. As already stated elsewhere, the use of the Hot Tub is NOT included in the standard hire fees, a separate payment will be required to prepare the tub for use, if required.
