It has one double bedroom (additional cot or truckle bed available), a well equipped kitchen-diner-lounge, shower room, sun terrace with BBQ and sea views and enclosed gardens. The ideal base for walking/cycling trips and we are close to civilisation, shops, a cinema, historic castles, trekking, outdoor sports and restaurants. All main room have views of the mountains and/or sea. A BBQ, and picnic bench are available for guests to use. There is plenty of space for walking in the big outdoors with footpaths, mountain biking and bridal ways nearby or from the door. The house has breathtaking views of sunsets, sea and mountains. Surrounded by footpaths and bridleways which can provide hours of rambling -the visitor guide has several walk suggestions in it for you to peruse. There is space to park cars. Tal y Llyn steam railway trains will stop at the nearby request stop in season-just tell the guard you want to get off here. National Rail trains come regularly to Tywyn from Birmingham/Shrewsbury. Remember to bring good outdoor shoes, slippers and a torch as it gets very dark here at night-with amazing star gazing . Unfortunately we are not able to provide disabled access due to the nature of the landscape. If you're not sure, please give me a ring to discuss. If you need anything we’re usually on site or just call the mobile or landline. We leave you to enjoy your holiday and everything you need to know is in a house manual. Get away from it all and immerse yourself in the remote rural nature of Snowdonia National Park. People come here to walk, bike, surf, relax, eat at the wonderful restaurants in the area and connect with the big outdoors. We're in the heart of Snowdonia National Park with big uninterrupted panoramic views, starry night skies, plenty of fresh air and footpaths, bridleways, and tracks from the doorstep of the house. Close to historic sites, castles and adventure sports, craft activities and good restaurants. We are very close to a request stop on the Talyllyn railway if travelling by steam is your thing, and the local pub, a twenty minute walk away, offers great food. The railway (in season) will take you to Dolgoch waterfalls, the seaside, a children's play park or get off and walk home. Easily accessible by car or bike, or on foot. We recommend visiting the lovely seaside town of Aberdyfi, Cadair Idris mountain range and Dolgellau for cake after, bike the spectacular Mawddach trail, walk Cregannen Lakes, SUP on the sea, walk to the mystic Bearded Lake, spend a day at Tonfannau Motorcycle Racing Circuit, Machynlleth Comedy Festival, Harlech castle, Aberystwyth and Bwlch Gwyn Pony Trekking Centre.
