Our stunning Cattle Byre has recently been converted to a very high standard, the property is self contained with private parking and an enclosed walled garden. The accommodation is predominantly open plan and on one level with one set of steps in the kitchen and another set to the utility room. The rooms are light and airy, making the most of the beautiful vaulted ceilings. The kitchen features top of the range units with granite worktops, plenty of storage, a breakfast bar with two bar stools, electric double oven/grill with induction hob, built in microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher, full height fridge/freezer and belfast sink. There is a fully equipped utility room to the rear of the kitchen with washing machine, heat pump tumble dryer and belfast sink. There are floor to ceiling windows along the whole length of the property with limestone flags in the living area and solid oak flooring in the bedrooms. There are two sofas in the living room, a wood burner and wall mounted smart television. There are also a number of board games and books for you to enjoy during your stay. Bedroom 1 features a wonderful vaulted ceiling, sliding door to outside, a king sized sleigh bed, large chest of drawers, hanging rail and a television. There is underfloor heating throughout the property and triple glazed windows keeping the property cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Outside is a large walled garden with sunny terrace and patio furniture for 6 people, a large parasol, bistro table, Weber BBQ and feature lighting. The property is perfect for families, with travel cot, black out curtains, high chair and kid's cutlery provided. A stair gate can also be provided if required (for the one set of steps in the kitchen). Two well behaved dogs welcome, but please not on the furniture or in the bedrooms. There is a perfect spot adjacent to the utility room for a dog bed, treats provided! We live on-site in a detached farmhouse a short distance from the property, I'm a full-time mum to two small boys so will be on-hand to help with any questions, but also appreciate the need for privacy and peace and quiet when away from home! We are situated just over half a mile from the vibrant village of Hawkesbury Upton with pub, fantastic (award winning!) village stores, post office, playground and excellent farm shop. The Cotswold Way is situated just 100yds from the property which links Hawkesbury to Horton and beyond to Tormarton. Car required (unless you're walking The Cotswold Way). There is a limited bus service in the village to the main surrounding towns. We are situated within 30 minutes drive of both Bath and Bristol and just 10 minutes from J18 of the M4. We own a dog, a cat, have free range chickens roaming and a few cows in the field.
