THE GARDEN STUDIO

Our peaceful, cosy studio sits in our garden, but with its own private entrance and private patio as it’s entirely fenced off from our house! It’s ‘open plan’, with a king size bed, a lounge area and a smart shower room. We are well placed for days out visiting all the attractions Norfolk has to offer! Only 20-25 minutes from the centre of Norwich, 25 minutes from the Norfolk Broads, 45-50 minutes from NT properties and all of the beautiful Norfolk coastline can be reached in 45- 60 minutes! We provide a toaster, kettle, coffee machine, 2 ring electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge ( freezer compartment for ice etc) and plenty of cutlery, plates, cups etc. We offer a little welcome basket with the basics to get you started, including a little sweet treat. (Please note we do not have a kitchen sink but provide a slimline dishwasher instead.) A parking space is reserved for guests on our driveway. Guests park by the side gate to the left side of the drive. There is a lock box for easy check in/check out if needed. A path leads down from the gate to the private entrance of the garden studio. Through the gate the whole space is fenced off from the main house and so is a totally private and secluded space just for guests. There is information provided in the visitors book, detailing everything you need to know about the annexe as well as all amenities in the local area. There’s information and ideas for days out throughout the whole of Norfolk as well. During your stay, we will always be at the end of the phone for anything we can help you with but your stay will be entirely private and peaceful! We live in a small, peaceful hamlet called Tharston, a 15 minute walk from Long Stratton. Here you will find the main bus stop( outside Nethertons restaurant ) a good sized co op, a restaurant, two pubs, a chemist, a cafe(it’s a new vegan cafe called Huggers) and a number of take - aways, including an ice cream parlour, pizza, fried chicken, Indian, Chinese, kebabs and a traditional fish and chip shop! We are around a 25 minute drive from Norwich, there is a bus stop in Long Stratton ( around a five minute drive or fifteen minute walk from the annexe) which will take you straight into Norwich centre. The A140 is a five minute drive from us and from here you can easily access the A47 which links you to the whole of Norfolk including the Norfolk Broads, miles of coastline and numerous National Trust sites.
