We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red. The cosy feel of this cottage is enhanced by the working fire place for use during the colder weather, where a log/coal basket will be provided. Bath and hand towels are supplied along with fresh bedding and a welcome hamper. The bedrooms boast a king size bed and a double bed, both beds come with all weather duvets 2 medium pillows and 2 soft so you can choose your liking. The windows in the bedrooms over look the village paddock, spectacular uninterrupted views can been seen from these windows as the sun sets on the cottage every evening. There is a bathroom with an over the bath shower, we have included a small amount of necessities should you need them. The kitchen is fully equipped with large dining table, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, halogen cooker (portable table top), washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. All tea and coffee will be waiting there for you, as will milk, butter and jams. The living room has original wooden floors, cosy sofas and as previously (Website hidden by Airbnb) open fire. Extra blankets and throws are available there for snuggly nights in. We live locally in the the same village, access to the cottage can be made alone or we can meet you and let you into the property. We respect that some may wish to enjoy their visit in peace, and will not be disturbed. But know we are only a phone call away for any queries. The Chew Valley is known for the great eateries and fantastic country side. With many of the local villages mentioned in the Doomsday book of 1086 there is no shortage of historic buildings and folklore. Chew Valley fishing lake and weir is a 5 minute drive as is Maes Knoll Tump, an Iron age Hill Fort. Chew Valley Lake is a great place to feed the ducks and offers parking and has a Fish and Chip take away. There is a bus stop 50 yards from the cottage which takes you into Bristol City Center. There are also excellent local walks and cycle routes. The cottage is spaced out over 3 floors, so as much as young children are welcome please ensure they are watched at all times. Baby gates can be used in certain areas of the house and there are steep steps to the garden.
