Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located townhouse in the destination coastal town of Aberaeron. This terraced Grade II listed Georgian house is comfortable and offers everything for a wonderful holiday. Enjoy sea views from a delightful terraced garden overlooking Cardigan Bay. Aberaeron is steeped in history, once being a major trading port. Today, the town is the jewel of Cardigan Bay, priding itself in lively festivals and sporting events. Tastefully decorated space with comfortable living room and dining room with oak flooring serviced by a good working kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The house has oil central heating. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Situated just a short stroll from the centre of attractive harbour town of Aberaeron, this terraced Grade II listed Georgian house is very comfortable and offers everything for a wonderful holiday. Enjoy sea views and a delightful terraced garden giving great views across the town and Cardigan Bay. Aberaeron is steeped in history, once being a major trading port, Aeronbelle is named after a ship built at the port in 1856. Many of the colourful painted houses including Aeronbelle, were once owned by sea captains. Today, the town is the jewel of Cardigan Bay, priding itself in lively festivals, exhibitions, events and sporting tournaments. There is shopping, cafés and renowned restaurants to suit all tastes. Many wonderful cycle routes and walks are available, both coastal and inland, including the route that leads to the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron, a rare preserved example of an 18th-century Welsh estate. With the Heritage Coastline of Ceredigion stretching out in front of you, there are a myriad of places to visit such as New Quay, once frequented by famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and thought by many to be the inspiration for his well known play Under Milk Wood, now more famous for its bottlenose dolphins. The pretty seaside village of Llangrannog, and the larger university town and resort of Aberystwyth. Other attractions within easy driving distance include the Rheidol Steam Railway, Devil’s Bridge, Cilgerran Castle, the Dolaucothi Gold Mines and the Cenarth Falls. Visit a gin distillery In the Welsh Wind at Gogerddan, or the nearby brewery Bragdy ar y Bryn. After a day exploring the wonderful sights, what better way to relax than to chill out around the appealing harbour, watching the sunset over Cardigan Bay and enjoying some local Welsh honey ice cream. Beach 350 yards. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 350 yards. We had a fabulous week at Aeronbelle. The house is comfortable, stylish, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Excellent restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. Aberaeron also has plenty of shops for stocking up on fresh Welsh local produce. Communication both before arrival and during our stay was prompt and helpful. Helen and Wyn are wonderful hosts with great local knowledge. Check in was easy. Will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the property. Alison, Cowbridge Aeronbelle is ideally situated a stones throw from the centre of Aberaeron's chocolate box harbour. Our family had an idyllic week, making the most of the Ceredigion coast, swimming and walking the coastal path. Helen is an excellent host, efficient and dependable. Though part of a terrace, the property is private, and benefits from an amazing vista from the top seating area at the rear. An abiding memory was watching the sunset with a glass of wine. We'll return. Diolch yn fawr! Aled. Free on street parking outside the property. Bus stop just outside property.
