Cottage on a Farm

A country cottage with cottage decor. Walking distance to Mt Thomas walking tracks and close to Glentui/Mt Richardson walking tracks. Oxford township is 15mins drive and Rangiora town is 20 mins drive. 1 hour drive from Christchurch. This property is on our farm so farm life can be observed. This cottage was in a very poor condition when we moved to this farm. We have loved restoring the building as we believe you cannot replace the history that comes with it. I have had great pleasure decorating and filling the cottage with period type furniture & accessories to make it a home away from home. We are mostly always home working on the farm & can stop to chat at times. We are happy to give guests an idea of farming in New Zealand and maybe they can help with some of our daily chores. This is a very beautiful area in the North Canterbury foothills. We love it that Mt Thomas overlooks us and we at it & its seasonal changes. Plenty of off road parking.
