The Stables offers a modern, relaxing environment in a peaceful location on a 15 acre smallholding. This two-bedroom converted stable block is an ideal base for exploring Sussex and includes a decking area, countryside views, underfloor heating, double-height open-plan living area and a wood burning stove. A great location for Glyndbourne, the South Downs National Park and the Ashdown Forest. The Stables has its own parking area and is easily accessible, only a few miles from the A22. The Stables is a converted stable block on a small farm. It has two bedrooms, a full bathroom with bath and shower and an airy double-height living, dining and kitchen area. The main living area boasts polished concrete flooring with underfloor heating, the bedrooms are carpeted. Large glazed patio doors open onto a decking area ideal for outside dining with a beautiful outlook over farmland and great for sunsets. The Stables has dedicated parking for three to four cars. Blackboys village (and the famous fourteenth century Blackboys Inn) is just a few minutes away, local towns Uckfield and Heathfield are within 10 minutes and Brighton, Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells are all within a half hour drive. We're close to the South Downs National Park and the Ashdown Forest. The famous opera house at Glyndebourne is about 20 minutes by car. We understand people come stay at The Stables for the peace and quiet and we also ask guests to respect our privacy at the rest of the property. However if there is ever anything you need please send a message. The Stables is set in a rural location between the villages of Blackboys and Halland. It is peaceful but the local road gives excellent access to local towns and the rest of East Sussex. You'll need a car to get around as The Stables is set in a rural location. There are lots of great walks nearby and the Wealden Way path is accessible from the farm.
