The Annexe @Box Cottage

Nestled in the Somerset levels, The Annexe @ Box Cottage is everything you need for a relaxing getaway in the countryside. The Annexe is a self-contained, one-bedroom guest suite, with shower room, living and dining area with kitchenette facilities and parking. This quaint cottage is nestled in the small, countryside village of Meare green, with easy access to the A303 and M5. Being close to the national cycle routes 33 and 339 it is popular with cyclists, walkers, and bird watchers alike. The Annexe is accessed through a shared entrance door to the cottage but guests will then have their privacy with the suite behind their own lockable door. The suite is joined to the house but is self contained. The garden can be used for doggy breaks but we do ask owners to pick up any mess. We are available on hand to answer any questions or help in anyway to make your stay more enjoyable. The Willow and Wetlands visitor centre is within easy walking distance, there are many public footpaths around the Somerset that can be easily accessed. A visit to the nearby town of Langport is recommended for shopping in small, local shops, stopping off for coffee or lunch and a walk by the river. Very popular with dog walkers and cyclists. The Annexe has its own private parking and public footpaths can be accessed easily. There is lockable storage if you wish to store bikes overnight.
