The snug -modern Cosy cabin in rural Hambrook M32

Welcome to The snug! 1 of 2 modern contemporary cabin retreats set on the grounds of our little home in rural Hambrook! Just off the m32, we are 8 mins to Bristol, close to AXA,MOD & UWE, this 1 double bed studio style space comes with private bathroom, dining area, mini kitchenette and smart tv and offers a perfect mini retreat to relax and enjoy the local area or a base for work. Everything you can expect from a self catering studio holiday accommodation but within your own contemporary boutique abode in a quiet rural area. The 5m x 4m open plan space consists a mini kitchenette (sink/kettle/toaster/microwave/electric induction hob/cafetière/mini fridge and kitchen cupboards for food storage) And a living/bedroom area with a day bed which converts to sofa for lounging or as a single/double bed. A space to sit with your breakfast or dinner at the modern glass dining table and luxury velvet chairs for 2, 3 drawers space for clothing, a mini tall wardrobe unit housing approx 10 hangers and full length mirror with shoes storage and a separate bathroom with electric shower and heated towel rai The decor is very simple chic, White and Grey Contemporary modern furniture with free wifi . There is a Smart TV for netflix/YouTube etc and freeview channels. Note we are in a rural location and wifi is extended from our home so it is not ideal for lots of software - but perfect for watching movies and using laptop for work. The cabin is located opposite our cottage home with views of the fields behind. We have blinds in all windows to offer privacy. We provide all linen and towels and extra hotel toiletries and amenities such as tea and coffee, shower gels, and a little welcome gift, We like to go the extra mile and treat our guests for special occasions - please state on booking if you have any special celebration or requirements :) We like to provide a luxury but simplistic stay that will be comfortable, convenient & enjoyable and we will go beyond to make sure your stay is as convenient & relaxed as possible. As of Spring 2022 we will have the external area of the cabin decked and made private with a hot tub. Any bookings taken now are on the basis that the garden is still not landscaped and the grass area outside is for use of the other cabin . For bookings on our larger cabin with the hot tub please see my other listing. Parking is available directly outside of the cabin through the gates. Please park to the right hand side of the cabin. There is also further parking along the front of the property on the main road. Behind secure gates and CCTV of the Driveway for security. You have use of your own key via the key box for self access and I will also aim to greet you of course and be on hand should you need anything whilst on site. If you have any questions about the space please don’t hesitate to ask! We aim to greet you at check in however sometimes this is not possible in which case Access can be obtained anytime in & out during the stay period with a fixed outside key box on the side of the cabin to get/leave your keys. The code will be given upon booking and up to one day before check in. I live in the lodge with my partner, little children and little dog, so you have reassurance of a safe friendly homely environment within private grounds but privacy of your own cabin. I will always help out if you need anything and I would be grateful that you communicate with me during your stay if there are any issues so I can smooth them out as this is a New venture for me and positive feedback is Important. For longer period stays I am more than happy to provide the accomodation on a services basis . I am very flexible to make your stay more convenient to your needs We live in a small rural village called Hambrook, next to winterbourne and Frenchay, Surrounded by fields yet conveniently on a main route to all local amenities , Perfect stay for business or leisure or simply visiting the area, Hambrook is a conservation area and if you are a keen hiker or love simply dog walking the fields behind provide route along the river Frome all the way to Snuff Mills, a well known walking route . we are just round the corner from the well know White Horse pub. A beautifully lit ambient country pub. The pub had a ‘barn’ conversion for parties which we happily accomodate guests, Frenchay is across the main road traffic lights where there is a beautiful common and The White Lion pub and children’s park, there are plenty of local shops in the next town Winterbourne just 3 minute drive on one straight road, and shopping centres nearby in Filton, Bradley Stoke, Yate and Emersons Green (all up to 10 minutes away)and of course Cabot Circus in the Centre or The Mall Cribbs causeway is only 10 minutes drive (with no traffic!) and for friends visiting city centre for a night out it is the perfect stopover close enough to city centre but without the hefty prices if you want something a little more unique. There is a bus stop directly outside with direct routes to UWE, and city centre! •HOW TO FIND US• From motorway- take the exit from M4/M5 motorway onto M32/A4174 and exit the junction onto A4174 towards kingswood and frenchay. At the first set of lights (⬅️ Winterbourne, ➡️ Frenchay) you take the left to a winterbourne and the property is on the roads about half way down. No one ever finds it, so once you reach the brewery on the right, Slow down. You will pass a rank of terraced cottages and then a big wood clad house, we are straight after that, before the road heads off. We offer a pick up service if you are not arriving by car, at an additional lower than average price. Please request this upon booking with details of pick up point.
