Forget your worries in this spacious & restful cottage. It is a charming stone-built property located close to Stamford. It has a spacious living room, & well-equipped kitchen diner both of which overlook the delightful cottage garden. Set in the friendly Rutland village of Ryhall close to Stamford, the cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside where you can see, geese, ducks and sheep close by. The village has 2 great pubs that offer food and a fantastic village store/post office. The cottage is situated in a quiet, peaceful cul de sac. It has 4 generous sized bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate shower room as well as a downstairs toilet. The cottage sleeps 8 in the four bedrooms but can accommodate 3 more on a sofa bed and single folding bed. The living room has 2 large sets of patio doors which open out to a sunny south facing walled cottage garden, safe for both children and dogs. Outdoor table and chairs available as is a barbecue. The downstairs toilet is well supplied with coat hooks. The hall and lounge is carpeted throughout so guests are requested to bring slippers or indoors shoes. Dogs are tolerated, but please refrain from allowing them to sit on the furniture unless use is made of the dog blankets supplied. There is parking at the property for 2 cars on its private drive and 1 further car could be parked outside the double garage. The cottage is in a very narrow highway, but it does widen out where the drive and garage is situated. If an additional car is parked tightly along side the garage doors there is plenty of room for other vehicular traffic. Guests are requested not to park past the boundary of the garage on the grass verge. Further on street parking is available close to the property. Quiet cul de sac, 100 yards from the centre of the village. There are currently no parking restrictions in the village. Guests are requested to drive through the village with care and park responsibly. There is a bus service to Stamford, 2 miles away, and local taxi prices are modest. Parking in Stamford is free on certain streets, but it is limited to 1 -2 hours depending on the location. There are 6 pay on use car parks in Stamford. Friday is market day, which is well worth visiting, but the town does become busy, but parking is reduced and in great demand. So guests may consider using the bus/taxis. As a host I will always be present on your arrival to walk you around the property and introduce to its features.
