We offer all the kitchen tools to cook a delicious meal and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. The Mallard house is conveniently located 15 minutes from the quaint town of Dover where you can find all the necessities. Nashville is 1.5 hours for those wanting a day trip to the city and Land Between the Lakes is 20 minutes for those seeking outdoor adventures! The Mallard house is the epitome of peaceful. Located in rural Tennessee, come enjoy the quiet of the country with some outdoor adventure mixed in. Dover has all the necessities such as a grocery store and a few local restaurants but it is a very small town. The nearest big town with nightlife and commercial stores is about 40 minutes away. Our home is nestled in nature so be prepared to use your bug spray! We love our river view of the cove, and taking the canoe out for a day on the water. Parking is easy since the house is on a secluded road. We live out of state but are only a phone call or text message away. We have a wonderful network of people ready to help in case of an issue with the house. We hope you enjoy the privacy! The Mallard is on a cul-de-sac on a country road. It is very secluded with only 1 full-time resident on the street. It is a private location yet only 15 minutes to a grocery. There is a boat ramp only 2 miles away that launches into the cove that the house overlooks. Although we are waterfront. It can be a steep climb to the water from our house. If you have small children we recommend walking to Teal dr. where this is a great swimming area for families. There is a one-car garage and private driveway for parking.
