It’s one of just 18 privately owned lodges on a small and scenic park area known as Lamont Lodges near Dunoon, Argyll. The lodge is comfortable and inviting and can sleep up to six people comfortably, with one double and two twin bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate WC. Featuring a well equipped kitchen with dining, a dishwasher, and electric heating. There’s a bright spacious living area, with large windows to enjoy the woodland park views. The lodge lies at the edge of a mountain forest with the well known freshwater glacial loch, Loch Eck, only a mile away. The coasts of the Firth of Clyde at Dunoon and Loch Fyne are 15 minutes away, while cultural and retail attractions of Glasgow or Edinburgh are accessible in an easy day-trip. A comfortable base for visiting the spectacular region and beyond. Cowal Peninsula is a wonderful region known for hill walking, fishing, and wildlife. Rashfield is a picturesque hamlet on the Cowal peninsula, situated between Loch Eck and the head of Holy Loch, in Argyll and Bute, West of Scotland. The hamlet is on the A815 road and the River Eachaig flows pass from Loch Eck to the Holy Loch. Rashfield is within the Argyll Forest Park which is itself within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Dunoon is 5.5 miles from Rashfield.
