Home Farm is situated in the idyllic village of Batcombe, Somerset. Chris and Camilla offer their guests a warm welcome. They serve breakfast in the oak panelled dining room. There is a twin room and a double, both spacious and ensuite. In view of the current covid situation , please make sure you are tested and clear of any other infections prior to arriving. Much appreciated. This is a charming and substantial old country house full of character and charm, set in amazing countryside. Guests have access to their bedroom, the dining room, oak panelled hall and elegant drawing room which gives on to a sun trap area of the garden. We always enjoy meeting our guests and will be present at the house to look after them. Batcombe, quite hidden away, is a beautiful rural village mainly built, like our house, of old grey stone. There is a magnificent ancient church and a delightful and friendly pub, with open fire, which serves excellent food and some exceptional beer brewed in the neighbouring village! The nearest stations are at Bruton and Castle Cary (for Paddington).
