Riverfront home with views and private jetty
Relax at this riverfront home in Mannum. With your own private jetty and access to the Mannum backwater you can fish, canoe or just sit and enjoy the views (without jet skis and speedboats spoiling the serenity). Enjoy a peaceful family holiday only 2 minutes from the Mannum township in this comfortable family home. There is space to walk around the paths in the back garden, with views to the craggy cliffs. Dogs are welcome. This private home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom has everything you need for a peaceful and private break from your busy life. Everything is available for a compete self contained holiday including linen, kitchen utensils, crockery, TV, books...the list goes on. The complete house is available for guests. It includes canoes and access across the road to the private jetty. The lower boat shed is available for guest equipment however the top garage is used for storage and locked. Guests can call, text or email. This is a peaceful area with our home nestled within a group all with river views, along the section of the Murray River backwaters where there are peaceful waters and lots of bird life. You will need a car or bike to get about. Phone reception is generally quite good but there is no separate wifi provided. The jetty provides access to the backwater and not the main river so it’s not able to be used for large boats, ski boats or jet skis. See council rules for what is allowed. There is a boat ramp within 1 minute of the property which does access the main river. Kayaks and life jackets are provided for guest use within the overnight rate. Please ensure you take all responsibility for your own safety and the care of the equipment, $100 fee will be charged for any kayaks left out of missing (unfortunately one was recently stolen). The main yard is accessible by dogs but is not secure. There is a small verandah area out the back which is secure and available for dog use. Dogs are allowed in the house providing they are house trained and you clean after them. Accessibility may be an issue for those with mobility issues as there are some steps and the driveway is quite steep and you do have to step into the (fibreglass) shower over a lip.
