You’ll love the stylish decor of this charming place to stay. Built in 1883 inside this former historic schoolhouse ,you'll find a sumptuous bedroom suite . A double bed with crisp white cotton bedding , welcomes you . Originally two rooms, this suite also offers a large flatscreen TV ,and relaxing area. There's also a modern ensuite bathroom ,with overbath shower. This spacious room has all you ll need for a great stay in Whitley Bay Another room available for other family members. Ask . The old school is in a very quiet spot ,but also very close to town centre ,beach and the local Metro train . There are a multitude of stylish eateries, cafes pubs and bistros literally at the bottom of the street . Honestly you will be spoilt for choice ,where to go to eat . Whitley Bay's stunning beach is a five minute walk away . Please note two cats also live here ,which means unfortunately I can not accommodate any pet visitors . There is a parking space available at the property on request and plenty of on street parking in the cul de sac . This is my home ,so I will be here if you have any questions . My home is set at the end of a cul de sac ,surrounded by trees ,its a very quiet neighbourhood . But still handy for local amenities . It is possible to park your car and the walk to most places locally , everything ,bistros, restaurants etc , beach ,train ,even Newcastle Airport is only a short train ride . . There is so much to do in Whitley Bay . If you are here for a weekend of longer ,you ll find plenty to do , the beach is stunning. You can stroll along it and visit the iconic lighthouse on StMarys Island ,and see the seals that live on the rocks there . You can hire a surf or paddle board here or in the very sheltered Cullercoats Bay just a10 minute walk further south. A walk through WhitleyBay 's famous Park View shopping street ,will reveal all of its eclectic shops and cafes . Visit the fantastic Tynemouth Market, on a Sat or Sunday ,and spend hours browsing the stalls or eating from the various street food outlets . f you want to travel further up into Northumberland ,to explore its many castles ,and stunning countryside,Alnwick Garden and Castle or even the historic Hadrian Wall ...you couldn't pick a better (Website hidden by Airbnb)
